Flickr, if you haven’t yet jumped on their bandwagon, is a photo-hosting and sharing site. One of the nifty features is the ability to “tag” your photos with keywords, much like Technorati does for blogs. What does this have to do with homeschooling?
Well, homeschoolers like to take pictures of what we do when we’re learning. As a side note, photography is great activity for children. A site like Flickr is a great way to show off not only photos of your children, but photos that your child took.
Some examples from my own brood:
Red rose in rain by Sarah
Meaghan – a self-portrait
Emma. Interesting things happen when you hand a camera over to a four-year-old.
And I’m thinking digital photography is far cheaper for children than getting all that film developed.
