I saw this at Doc’s first, but couldn’t leave her a comment. It later showed up in Gem‘s blog. So, I left her a comment. If you haven’t done this yet, and want to, follow the directions at the bottom of the post.
1. What is the last movie you saw in the theater?
The Bourne Supremacy (2004) – I didn’t enjoy the movie. I did enjoy the book (about 20 years ago). The first Robert Ludlum book I read was The Chancellor Manuscript. I’m hoping the Bourne Ultimatum movie is better.
2. How many hours/day do you spend on the computer between work and play?
8-9 but 7-8 of those hours are work. I don’t get to play as much as I would like.
3. Are you as geeky or geekier than you were in high school (geeky being a good thing!)?
Oddly enough, I don’t think I was a geek in high school. I was an outsider who thought high school was a waste of time. And, given the way it is done, I still do. I turned into a geek in college. I was studying computers after all. Now I’ve packed away 20 years of techno-knowledge and I’m incurable

4. What is the most profound thing your kids have taught you?
The most important thing in parenting is setting an example.
5. What’s the most unusual blog you’ve read recently?
That would be hard to say, except new blogs at homeschool journal, I probably have not read a new blog in close to a year.
The Rules of the Meme:
1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like [the food you hate most in all the world]. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.
I have always hated chocolate – strange for a woman I know but I still hate it – except when I am pregnant.
Tenn, here are your questions:
Does your name come from having been in the family? And/or was it local to where you grew up?

1- Do you have any technical training in your background, or have you picked it all up as you went along?
2- If you could spend a year travelling around the world (under the guise of homeschooling), what places would you be sure to go?
3- Any places you think you might avoid?
4- Do you have a preference for metropolitan areas, suburbs, or rural areas?
5- Are you teaching again this year?
Tracy:
1- Have you started writing/planning any books?
2- Do you consider yourself to be a homeschooling activist?
3- Firefox or Internet Explorer?
4- Have you started planning your next vacation?
5- What is the most memorable homeschooling book you’ve read?
I’ve answered my questions! Thanks, Ron.
Oh, I’m behind on memes, but hey, I’m always game for a little fun….Liver (all kinds), can’t stand the smell, the taste of it or anything!

I’m feeling pretty uninspired about the blog lately – I could use an interesting meme…
Probably the food people would be most surprised at my having eaten before would be fried squirrel. A neighbour in Missouri brought some over, fried just like chicken. The taste wasn’t bad, a bit greasy but not unlike dark chicken meat. Further surprising is that I had seconds…
grocery store bacon….yuck.
Sorry I’ve taken so long. Here are the next set of questions:
